The Bundle facility
|
This directory contains programs that can be used to compress and decompress VOS files, or can be used to convert a VOS file to a stream file while retaining its original VOS structure information for eventual restoration. Together with the standard VOS save and restore commands, these commands enable you to save a complete VOS file or directory in a single, compact stream file without losing any VOS file type information. Such files are called "bundled" files for convenience.
Download the
bundle.cm and the unbundle.cm command macros to your Stratus. FTP in ASCII mode.
