Manage and monitor the size of disks, directories and files

The SPS/Disk Space Manager resolves two common and serious problems. The first is the ongoing struggle to control and manage the amount of valuable disk space consumed by each application, user or group of users. The second is the ability to detect quickly and to correct automatically conditions of insufficient free space which may cripple the system, cause critical applications to fail and create production disasters.

Continuously monitors disk space utilization and gives early alerts of excess consumption
Prevents serious production problems and saves "research" work required when the system runs out of disk space
Monitors any number system elements: disks, user directories, files, links and star names
Supports multiple levels, user defined threshold settings
Broadcasts alerts to operators and selected users
Initiates cleanup and recovery procedures
